2014-15 Hurricanes Intro Video

I was assigned to produce a intro video to be played before the Hurricanes taking the ice for the 2014-2015 season. The video, set to the song “Can’t Kill Us” by The Glitch Mob, played for approximately 30 of the 41 home games throughout the season. The video is built to take advantage of everything PNC Arena has to offer: it has high replay value given the “light show” design on the ribbon boards and the simultaneous angles of season highlights on the upper and main boards. In addition, the heavy bass of the song combined with the large subwoofers shaking the arena really puts fans “in” the video, and hypes them up for the Hurricanes taking the ice. The video was continuously updated throughout the season to include new season highlights as the big plays and moments happened. The version seen below is the intro video as it was seen in the final games of the 2014-15 season.
